What Motivated you to start your Business?
Both I and my husband come from a family of voracious readers. Unfortunately, with advancement of technology, the book reading habit is on a decline. We aim to reignite this passion by simplifying book receipt & return system. This object gave rise to Libraryonnet.com

With LibraryOnNet.com, you can make your request for books online from the comforts of your home. With our fleet of dedicated delivery personnel, you will get the books delivered to your doorstep.
What is a Day in a life of you like?
A typical day starts with order consolidation and route planning. Once this is done, we proceed with deliveries and pick up. The day ends with updating the orders in our system. Handling customer queries happens throughout the days. Weekends are reserved for books procurement.
One particular skill you got right and gave you best results..
If you have a passion for something, everything obstacle can be overcome. Coming from a family that loves book-reading, I myself have a passion for books. This passion helps us identify not-so-famous books that users are likely to love. Every book we purchase handpicked based on user feedback or our analysis. This is the most important reason why we do not have books that are never ordered.
What have been your biggest challenges in running your Business so far?
The challenges are no different from any start-up. The two biggest challenges are establishing our name as reliable library and attracting talented people.
How did you overcome these challenges?
Our unique collection of books, coupled with flawless deliveries is helping us establish our credentials. Also our personal passion for books has started to rub with employees and now we have started receiving suggestions from them as well.
What have you found the most effective way to get new clients?
Adding a personal touch is most important to get new clients. No matter what channel we use for advertising, users mostly place a call before subscribing to the library. On an average we spend more than 30 minutes per enquiry to provide them required clarifications. This is helping us a lot in converting users, especially sceptical users.
What advice do you give to other business owners?
There will be several obstacles in business, but do not give up
How did you keep motivated through difficult times?
“Future belongs to those who have faith in it”. I got it from one my teachers in school, but till date it continues to inspire me. I have full faith in the success of our venture and it is this faith that helps me overcome difficult moments.
What’s your Marketing, Funding and Team Building Strategy
Ours is a family business and we have the sole ownership of library. We are investing through internal funds.

As I said earlier, “Future belongs to those who have faith in it”
Who inspires you?
I get my inspiration from my mother-in-law. She has overcome so many problems in life with a smiling face, that business obstacles seem trivial to me. This gives me the strength to overcome these obstacles.
Do you have a Business Philosophy?
We like to promote Indian authors and have created a special category for Indian. We have debut books of Indian authors as well as books of established authors. We also try to publish an interview with debutant authors (Indian) whose book is added to our library.
