Company Overview : Originally Started by Hemant Agrawal & me the idea was to provide something different. There are numerous home tutoring Companies then Why Shiksha Mitra? Me and Hemant were both good students and aspiring too but we always felt a dearth of good teachers either in school or college. The idea was not to provide tutors but to provide those teachers who could help the students out as friends. In India there is a communication gap between students and teachers and I have seen very talented and sharp people do average for the want of proper guidance. So, Shiksha Mitra came up. We started recruiting tutors who were not only sound with their knowledge of the subject but were truly good tutors and mentors. Mother is the first educator and we believe friends are second. So why not provide tutors who are friends as well?. We have come across students who are afraid of talking in a class, asking their doubts lest the peers might laugh. It’s really good to see some confidence in these kids and this is what we have been doing. Not only providing tuition but counseling too…
The problem is that Indian Education system is very scattered. It is said,” Jack of all trades master of none.” In India we are creating lots of “Jacks”. Why does a student, who is week in Math and good in painting, need to learn math for further education. So, we here at Shiksha Mitra, provide tutors and counseling to those students (They Are In a Very Big Majority, Believe Me!). We cannot change the education system, but one thing we can do is to provide them confidence and an assurance No matter whatever happens, we will be with you to support and That’s Okay if you like painting more than math, you just have to pass in math and do good in painting.
