What motivated you to start your Business?

I left my corporate job after I became a mom. The initial year as a mom was full of feeding, burping, changing nappies and putting her to sleep. But once she started growing up a bit, I seemed to have a bit more time for myself. Also, I had been missing my financial independence for quite some time! After being an SAHM, I decided I wanted to work but at my own timings and at the comforts of my home. And that is when I stumbled upon the Wooplr influencer campaign!

Tell us about your Business

NammaFashionStore is all about getting you the latest trends, designs, and patterns at great deals. Not just clothes. Accessories, bags, footwear, jewelery, make up products – we host all of these!

Tell us what an average day in your life looks like.

My average day starts with checking out my store the first thing every morning. The rest of the morning goes with the little one. After she naps is when I get to login again, filter through a large variety of products for my store, choose the apt ones, plan, advertise, share and keep track of the sales. The flexibility of doing things at my pace helps a lot!

Social skills!!

What have been your biggest challenges in running your Business so far? How did you overcome these challenges?

The biggest challenge till date has been about investing enough time into my startup. Being a mom takes away most of the day! I intend to focus more on my store once the little one starts her school!!

What have you found the most effective way to get new clients?

Socialize, strategize and advertise. Each person has different perspectives and choices, so one needs to be innovative in using strategies for marketing the products.

What advice do you give to other business owners?

Building a business is no easy job. Start slow, work hard and have patience. Patience is the key!

How did you keep motivated through difficult times?

Focusing on my long term goals helps me get past the present hurdles.

What are your Marketing, Funding, and Team Building Strategy?

My strategy is to reach out to the crowd – mostly the younger generation, as much as possible. Right now, the focus has been on social media platforms and word of mouth but I am also focusing on other ways of marketing through blogging, vlogging and also through local stores!

Your Achievements?

When I started with my online store, I wasn’t really sure about what I was doing. But within a month, I’ve gone from a “beginner” to a “popular” influencer!
It might be a bit too early, but I sure hope to list out my achievements in detail in the near future!!

Trying and failing is better than not trying at all!

Moms! They are the real unsung sheroes!
