What Motivated you to start your Business?
I have always been extremely fond of packaging gifts for friends and family… After working for 9 years in different fields, I decided to take up packaging as a full time business and started creating our own products.
Tell us about your Business….
Dreamcastle, specialises in creating products primarily made out of paper like gift boxes, gift bags, personalised stationary, gift envelopes, wine covers, notepads etc… These prodoucts are conceptualised, printed and fabricated at our end.
What is a Day in a life of you like?
Work begins at 10:30 with the product deliveries, printing orders and attending to client requirements.. our unit shuts at 6:30 if all jobs delivered.
One particular skill you got right and gave you best results…..
Marketing and Business development along with production.
What have been your biggest challenges in running your Business so far?
To reach out to maximum people as possible, since our products can be used and picked up by any age group.. also, maintaining product quality is very important as our products are fabricated by hand.
How did you overcome these challenges?
I took up the business development responsibility myself and reached out to my target audience. Products are checked for quality by myself.
What have you found the most effective way to get new clients?
Facebook and participation in various exhibitions
What advice to you give to other business owners?
Maintaining quality and customer service is the backbone of any business.
How did you keep motivated through difficult times?
Personally took up various issues and resolved them hands on along with the staff
Whats Your Marketing Strategy…..
Sending my emailers along with the product brochure to a large network.
