Company Overview : FindYogi is a product comparison engine that allows consumers to make better buying decisions based on intelligent comparison techniques and a value for money index. The value for money index allows consumers to know whether the product being bought is worth its price or not.
FindYogi quantifies the value for money with the FindYogi Index, a rating out of 5, that tells you if a product is worth buying at its current market price. This a completely automated feature that takes into account all the products, and their prices, of that particular category into account. While FindYogi does not currently account for brand perception and novelty of the product, the future will see it going on to cover these areas as well.
FindYogi also allows better and intelligent comparison of products possible by publishing a complete set of features and prices from different sellers. This sounds very trivial but most e-commerce companies in India do not have so much detail and accuracy. This is a completely manual process. On FindYogi every product is quantified based on different features. It provides aFeature Score, a score out of 100, to every product. This is calculated taking into account all the specifications of the product as compared to maximum of that available in market.
Currently FindYogi covers mobiles completely and has a partial coverage of tablets. More standard product categories will be soon added.
FindYogi was co-founded by Naman Sarawagi who has in the past led product initiatives with ZipDial and Freecharge and Anil Bhat- a development veteran from Novell and Yahoo.
