Location – Based out of Jalandhar but since its an online store we deliver all over India
What motivated you to start your Business?
We would brainstorm everyday in college and always wanted to start out on our own, we would think of problems and possible solutions and how we could come into the picture until we came up with this idea.
Tell us about your Business
eShack is a one of a kind online store catering to only party lovers, alcohol lovers as well as to bars, hotels and commercial set ups who are looking to accessorize their bar with crazy products.
What is a Day in a life of you like?
A day in the life of us is a mix of work and fun. We wake up and attend classes and immediately get down to our daily to do list and start ticking of whatever we have finished. We play football or basketball everyday and brainstorm before sleeping about the next day’s plan of action.
One particular skill you got right and gave you best results
Our passion with respect to our work and our competitive spirit is what we got right. We both are extremely competitive and it makes us do a better job and put in more than 100%.
What have been your biggest challenges in running your Business so far?
The biggest challenge as student entrepreneurs has been college and maintaining a balance between studies and work and having a life like rest of the kids our age.
How did you overcome these challenges?
Time management is the key to success according to me. It is extremely important to have a to do list and a POA for everyday and of course dedicate two hours a day to regular studies to maintain the balance between studies and our entrepreneurial venture.
What have you found the most effective way to get new clients?
Facebook and Social Media Advertising has been the most effective way. The reach is extremely wide through social media and of course keeping your customers happy as word of mouth from a happy customer is extremely crucial.
What advice do you give to other business owners?
Never lose hear while you’re waiting for things to go your way. Work harder; stay as passionate and gradually with all the hard work and effort everything will come back on the right track.
How did you keep motivated through difficult times?
Our parents and friends have supported us since day zero. We always kept our goal in mind, which was to have our own successful venture, and with that goal in mind we would work harder and pull through difficult times as well.
What are your Marketing, Funding and Team Building Strategy?
We are soon expanding to even selling merchandise on our website and we will be using T-Shirt Marketing as a technique along with a pyramid strategy to reach out to maximum customers. This strategy includes having marketing representatives in every city and will benefit out of representing us and this way we have a huge team spread out through out the country.
Our initial funding came from our parents and families and we are looking for funding from Venture Capitalists and Angel Investors to help us expand our business.
Your Achievements?
We got coverage from Calcutta Times as well as Startup Today and Nagpur Entrepreneurs. We have received offers to accessorize bars in various parts of India. And with the help of our customers we have thrown launch parties in Delhi and Kolkata and are looking to travel all over India throwing the craziest parties.

Who inspires you?
To be very honest our parents as well as entrepreneurs like Gurbaksh Chahal, Varun Agarwal and others who have made it big on their own accord. Through our competitive spirit we inspire each other to work hard everyday.
Do you have a Business Philosophy?
Yes, fill in the blanks. Look for the blanks and see what you can do to fill the void and if there is someone filling in the void then figure out a way to do it better. As Steve Jobs said in one of his earlier interviews, ‘Once you realize that the world around you has been built by people no smarter than you, there’s no going back’
