What motivated you to start your Business?

I am shopaholic and during my sister’s wedding I have done lot of research about my purchasing. I went to all top 20-30 websites to buy clothes and other accessories. Actually, I was searching something good in ChikankariAnarkalis especially heavy designer ones with lot of Mukaish /Kamdani work Anarkalis, Sarees but didn’t find any. As they say “Need is mother of Invention” I saw this as an untapped market with lot of potential to serve customers across globe. Since I am from Lucknow it helped me a lot to setup my manufacturing facility in Lucknow.

One particular skill you got right and gave you best results

I would say it’s “Timely Execution”. From my childhood, I always wanted everything to be perfect and finish on time. This is helping me even now by creating “WOW” experience for all my customers. I don’t want any dissatisfied customer. It happens because of right communication and being truthful. Till now we have 100% satisfied customers. Fingers crossed.

What have been your biggest challenges in running your Business so far?

As far as business is concerned, I have not faced enough challenges as we are new entrant. But I am a mother of 2.5 year young kid it is a bit a challenging for managing him and my business. It’s like a dual role I have to play.

What have you found the most effective way to get new clients?

We believe in no money marketing. Social Media, emailing and blogging have given enough room to reach out to new customers. Our team is well equipped on that front as they are fresh from college they know the tactics of all the channels and we are learning new things everyday to reach out to our prospective customers.

What advice do you give to other business owners?

Typically many ecommerce is living on the charity of Venture capitalist. For young people, I would say try to create a niche and provide value to your customers

Whats Your Marketing, Funding and Team Building Strategy

Funding: we are not looking at this point in time as we are running with surplus cash. Our main strategy is to reach out as many customers as possible. In that front we are building team of young college graduates.

Do you have a Business Philosophy?

Be truthful to your customers
