What motivated you to start your Business?
This business idea hit our minds 11 years back during our college days. However we got lost in the never ending maze of corporate life; and we got back together after 11 years to relive a new life and realize the same idea together.
Tell us about your Business…
We have started off as an online food ordering website where we partner with multiple restaurants and users can click and order food from various restaurants and cuisines and ensure quick and prompt delivery at their doorsteps. As we move forward we would be scaling our operations into various cities, integrating our website into different technological platforms and launch two other interesting products across the food and dine category.
What is a Day in a life of you like?
25% of the time is spent on restaurant relationship building, 35% of the time is spent on marketing, PR and customer service & operations, 40% of time is spent on technology development, testing and maintenance
One particular skill you got right and gave you best results.
Both the founders come with complementary skills which helps us to clearly split our job responsibilities and deliverables right from day one
What have been your biggest challenges in running your Business so far?
The biggest challenge has been to align our minds and attitude to that of an entrepreneur As someone once said, to move from being a pedigree dog in a corporate to a street mongrel; where we have to hunt for our food every day.
How did you overcome these challenges?
We were able to overcome these challenges by being positive and having complete faith in our business idea and product. Gyeser is like our child and we ensure we strive to see it grow into a mature business.
What have you found the most effective way to get new clients?
Impeccable customer service is the most effective way to reach more customers.
What advice do you give to other business owners?
Unadulterated faith on your business idea is important.
What are your Marketing, Funding and Team Building Strategy?
We are involved in large scale online and offline marketing campaigns. We intend to roll out a number of interesting campaigns which are currently under wraps. We are currently bootstrapped and we intend to develop some scale before moving into a first round of funding.
At top of the list of achievements is the attitude and willingness to move away from comfortable corporate jobs and to go through the entire cycle of building a corporation all by ourselves.
